Partnership Announcement: Launch of the Insurance Resilience Planning Program
Insurance for Good and the California Department of Housing and Community Development are pleased to announce the launch of the Insurance Resilience Planning Program (IRPP), in close coordination with the California Department of Insurance.
In recent years, the risk of major wildfires and floods has been increasing in California, resulting in billions of dollars in property damage and economic losses. This program will provide education and capacity building on disaster insurance to communities. Insurance for Good will also work with them on solutions development to improve access to insurance, fill recovery gaps, and drive greater investments in loss reduction to improve insurability. The program will be working in Monterey, San Benito, San Diego, Santa Cruz, Tulare, and Tuolumne counties, and the Hoopa Valley Tribe.
Please visit our Insurance Resilience Planning Program page to learn more and reach out if you are working in any of these geographies.
