While Insurance for Good is focused on the United States, much innovative work is being done internationally around insurance-related tools to support social and environmental outcomes. The U.S. can learn from some of these efforts.

Access to Insurance Initiative. A global partnership with the mission to inspire and support supervisors to promote inclusive and responsible insurance, thereby reducing vulnerability. 

Insurance Development Forum. The IDF’s vision to improve global risk understanding to create resilience platforms for sustainable growth and human dignity.

InsuResilience Global Partnership. Aims to strengthen the resilience of developing countries and protect the lives and livelihoods of poor and vulnerable people against the impacts of disasters through Climate and Disaster Risk Finance and Insurance solutions.

Microinsurance Network. A non-profit association of organizations and individuals who are committed to building a world where people of all income levels are more resilient and less vulnerable to daily and catastrophic risks through improved access to effective risk management tools, including insurance services.

Munich Climate Insurance Initiative. A leading think tank on climate change and insurance, MCII is focused on developing solutions for the risks posed by climate change for the poorest and most vulnerable people in developing countries.

UNDP Insurance and Risk Finance Facility. In collaboration with industry, governments and other partners, IRFF produces policy advice, guidance, tools, methodologies & networks to strengthen country and community resilience to socio-economic, health, climate and other shocks.
