The Learning Lab for local leaders building resilience.

The problem.

Communities are facing increasing threats from natural hazards. The costs from these disasters are rising, making insurance harder to get and more expensive. To help manage the fiscal risk of disasters, local leaders need a deeper understanding of insurance and broader risk transfer tools and how those can integrate into broader community resilience and recovery efforts.

The Learning Lab.

The Insurance for Good Learning Lab is a tailored, year-long program of education and capacity building for cohorts of local leaders.

Through the Learning Lab, participants get actionable information and tools, a space for peer-learning, and access to experts to help them develop innovative solutions.
